Teutori is the pen name of the versatile Finnish painter, illustrator and bestselling author Teuvo Koskinen (1941-2000). Alongside having been a subtle observer of the Nordic nature and a redeemed portrait painter, he is widely known for his children's books, characterised by their charming illustrations and engaging narratives.
Luxurious artistic quality, bright colours and unique, warm-hearted atmosphere became Teutori’s hallmarks and have made children and adults alike love his series ”Mandy and Andy” across generations.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Teuvo "Teutori" Koskinen
Artist, illustrator and author of more than 40 children’s books. Born 1941, he showed spectacular drawing skills early on. His first job as graphic artist served as a learning ground for his later artistic career, spanning a wide variety of styles and techniques from pencil drawing to gouache and oil paints. That is also where he got the nickname ”Teutori”, derived from his first name, which was to become his artist name and brand, always associated with high quality and delightful style.
